Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Security Pre-Sales / Solution Architect to lead pre-sales and solutioning for enterprise Microsoft Security opportunities, working closely with customers, sales teams, Microsoft, delivery teams, and technology partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Microsoft Security Pre-Sales & Solutioning
- Lead the technical pre-sales lifecycle for enterprise Microsoft Security opportunities
- Partner with account teams to understand customer security challenges, business objectives, and compliance needs
- Run technical discovery workshops and develop solution architectures and high-level designs
- Author technical proposals, SOWs, solution documents, effort estimates, and BOMs
- Deliver customer presentations, executive briefings, technical workshops, and RFP/RFI responses
- Translate security requirements into practical Microsoft Security solutions
- Validate solution feasibility, effort, dependencies, and risks with delivery teams
Microsoft Security Technology Expertise Solutioning depth across the Microsoft Security portfolio: Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, Entra ID Protection, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Identity Governance, Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Management and Endpoint Security, Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, eDiscovery and Compliance, Microsoft Security Copilot, Microsoft Security Exposure Management, Defender Vulnerability Management, plus Security Operations / SOC solutions, SIEM/SOAR, and security automation.
Microsoft Security Assessments
- Lead or support Microsoft Security Assessments across identity, endpoint, email, cloud, data, SIEM, and compliance
- Assess against recognized frameworks: Zero Trust, NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA
- Identify gaps, risks, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses
- Produce maturity assessments, gap-analysis and risk reports, and remediation roadmaps
- Present executive-level findings, translating technical results into business risks and actionable recommendations for technical and executive stakeholders
- POCs, POVs & Technical Labs
- Own the design and execution of Microsoft Security POCs, POVs, pilots, and technical demonstrations
- Build realistic customer scenarios covering identity compromise, Conditional Access, Zero Trust, endpoint detection and response, email security, SIEM/SOAR, threat detection, vulnerability management, data protection, insider risk, cloud security, and security automation
- Develop and maintain dedicated Microsoft Security lab environments for POCs, demos, training, R&D, and internal enablement
